  15. StopLight(R) - Workstation Security System
  16. ------------------------------------------
  17. Security, menu, and anti-virus concerns are addressed by StopLight, a
  18. DOS software system from Safetynet, Inc.  StopLight is suitable for 
  19. protecting PCs and laptops running DOS or Microsoft Windows. StopLight
  20. requires a valid name and password to gain access to the hard disk.
  21. Trustee assignments provide protection for sensitive drives, files
  22. and directories.  StopLight can prevent software piracy and can allow
  23. only authorized programs to run.  Its keyboard lock protects against
  24. prying eyes, and its secure audit trail reports program usage, data
  25. access, and violation attempts.  Adjustable user security features
  26. include config.sys and autoexec.bat protection, data encryption,
  27. DOS Shell and Ctrl-C disable, printer and floppy drive access control,
  28. password management, and secure diskettes that are unreadable outside
  29. the organization.  The security monitor is written in assembler and
  30. takes up only 11K of conventional memory.  VirusNet and Drive-In

  35. StopLight(R)/ELS - Entry Level Security for PCs and Laptops

  37. The entry level version of StopLight is ideal for securing laptops and
  38. stand-alone PCs.  It protects the hard disk from unauthorized access
  39. and has a keyboard lock and screen saver.  Its audit trail tracks
  40. program and file activity.  Each user on the system can have separate
  41. security profiles.  Its PC Checkup program provides detailed system
  42. information, and can revive hard disks that fail because of boot
  43. track viruses and disk corruption.  StopLight/ELS requires only 12K
  44. of conventional memory.

  49. StopLight LAN provides centrally installed and controlled security
  50. for network workstations.  Protection is available on bootup or
  51. network login, securing PCs and diskless workstations.  Workstation
  52. security is managed from the server by an elegant Windows security
  53. console.  Full drag and drop capability, along with pop-up menus
  54. make security management effortless.

  67. LANSD gives the network administrator unprecedented power and control
  68. over software distribution, event scheduling and virus protection.
  69. LANSD manages all activity through the Network Console desktop,
  70. providing effortless control over several or hundreds of PCs.
  71. Workstations can be organized into groups for easy sharing of LANSD
  72. profiles.  Software distribution installs and maintains files from the
  73. network to the workstation or from network to network. Each workstation
  74. group can run up to 100 scheduled events, including hard drive backups
  75. and virus scans, and one-time network messages.  Schedules are centrally
  76. defined to run during workstation bootup, network login, or in the
  77. background when MS-Windows is started.  LANSD manages the details for
  78. you, copying required scheduler files and maintaining each workstation's
  79. AUTOEXEC.BAT and WIN.INI files.  It can automatically install and
  80. maintain itself on all workstations in a group.  LANSD has been designed

  89. VirusNet provides antivirus protection and disaster recovery for PCs.
  90. Its Windows or DOS versions protects against existing and unknown
  91. viruses by dual signature, checksum and heuristic scanning.  An
  92. exclusion list eliminates false alarms associated with checksum scanning.
  93. The Rescue feature protects against CMOS and hard disk corruption.  Rescue
  94. information for workstations and standalone PCs is stored in a central
  95. database located on diskette or on the file server.  Scheduled scans and
  96. automatic workstation updates are provided.  A 3K TSR prevents infected
  97. programs from being run or copied, and checks floppy disks when they are
  98. accessed.  Supported platforms include DOS, Windows, Windows NT and OS/2
  99. computers.  Network support is included for IBM LAN Server, Novell Netware,

  105. VirusNet LAN combines the anti-virus protection of VirusNet with the
  106. powerful central managment found in our LAN Scheduler and Distribution
  107. system.  The result is fully automatic anti-virus protection for several
  108. or hundreds of workstations.  Just tell VirusNet LAN which files to
  109. maintain, how the virus monitor should be configured, and when scans should
  110. occur, and its LANAGENT program will install and configure each workstation
  111. automatically.  When updated scanner files are copied to the LAN, they
  112. will be automatically distributed to each workstation.

  115. ProfileNet(tm) - Workstation Hardware and Software Inventory
  116. ------------------------------------------------------------
  117. ProfileNet identifies workstation hardware and software for
  118. inventory control and allows central modification of workstation
  119. startup files.  It can automatically scan workstations at selectable
  120. intervals with inventory data saved to the server.  A software
  121. database identifies programs and keeps track of software license
  122. agreements.  New programs and unknown file tracking allow the database
  123. to be easily expanded.  User information, a full notepad, and a
  124. free-form database for each workstation allow related information to
  125. be tracked and provide help desk management information.  Summary,
  126. detailed, and user-defined reports are provided and inventory 
  127. information can be shared with dBase-compatible programs for custom 
  128. reporting.  Supported platforms include IBM LAN Server, Novell 
  129. Netware, Banyan Vines, as well as stand-alone PCs.

  132. Drive-In(R) & Drive-In LAN - No Memory Overhead Menu System

  134. Drive-In provides instant access to programs and DOS commands.  
  135. Menu choices can be logically grouped, with up to twenty choices
  136. per menu and eight menu levels.  Drive-In LAN provides shared and
  137. private menus, dynamic menu display and no memory overhead.  By
  138. changing a user's network priviledges, menus will automatically
  139. change to reflect the new user rights.  There are no scripts or
  140. compiler commands to learn.  Password protection is available for
  141. each menu choice, including "Exit to DOS" and "Program Setup".
  142. When a menu choice is selected, you can prompt the user for
  143. additional information.  File and directory windows assist the
  144. user's selection.  Drive-In for Windows includes all of the 
  145. features of the DOS version plus a dynamic toolbar of your most 
  146. commonly run programs.
